Remote Transmitter for Toyota Dealer-Installed System with Receiver Module 00016-79200-01 – FCC ID BGA97TOYR

A very resourceful customer recently contacted us after purchasing a used 2007 Corolla CE. She was not given any key fobs for the vehicle, but was convinced it was equipped with keyless entry because she found a module under the dash. That receiver was labeled part number 00016-79200-01 and included FCC ID BGA97TOYR.

She was correct. This is the receiver for a dealer-installed keyless entry system made for Toyota by aftermarket system manufacturer Audiovox and used on many vehicles that were not equipped with factory-installed keyless entry systems. We responded that the original transmitter for this vehicle is Remotes Unlimited part 092-6435 – Toyota part 00016-34030(-05) – with FCC ID ELVATDD. That part is no longer manufactured, but Remotes Unlimited still offers pre-owned transmitters of this type. It has been replaced by a newer part – 092-7331 with FCC ID ELVATRF. You can see both parts at the following link: 092-6435 with alternate 092-7331

This system is user programmable, using a toggle switch found on the receiver module.

1-button Remote Start Key Fobs with FCC ID GOH-PCMINI

We recently received an inquiry from a business partner who wanted to know about remote start transmitters with FCC ID GOH-PCMINI. These remote key fobs are used with add-on dealer-installed remote engine start systems manufactured by Code Alarm (now Voxx) and provided by several vehicle manufacturers. The image below shows some of the remotes with this FCC ID.

2014-15 Optima vehicles could have either a key-operated ignition or push-button start. Vehicles with a keyed ignition use a flip key remote with Kia part number 95430-2T550 or 95430-2T560. This is Remotes Unlimited part 086-6594. See this keyfob at the following link:
Remotes Unlimited part 086-6594 for 2014-15 Kia Optima

At the time of this post, we have both new and pre-owned remotes in stock. As you can see from the part listing on our website, we currently offer new key fobs for $129.00. Our price for a good-condition pre-owned part is $49. Pre-owned transmitters are cleaned, tested and given a new battery. Pre-owned remotes for 2014-15 Optimas cannot be purchased on the website at this time, but you can place an order through our call center if you like. You can reach us at 281-820-0300 (or toll-free in the US at 877-719-1900). Press 2 for sales when the automated attendant answers.

In order for a transmitter to work with the system in your vehicle, programming with a computer “scan” tool is required. Both Kia dealers and automotive locksmiths should have this tool and be able to program your new remote. They do charge for this service. We recommend calling a few service providers to compare pricing because some charge an exorbitant fee for this service.

We sell the transmitters without a replacement key blade because most people are able to transfer the cut blade from their old remote. However, we also have a replacement uncut key blade available for this part – part number KBI-086-09. Please call us and speak with a sales associate if you would like to purchase an uncut blade. To get a new blade cut for your vehicle, the dealer or locksmith programming the transmitter should also be able to provide key cutting service (again, for a fee). If you are planning to transfer a pre-cut blade, we recommend that you contact our tech support experts for a description of that process and the tools you may need.

And, as always, programming instructions for user-programmable remotes and free phone technical support is included with your purchase.

Factory Keyless Entry Remote Keyfob for 2003 Nissan Sentra

2003 Nissan Sentra a split-year situation. Nissan used one keyless entry system on vehicles for the beginning of the model year and then switched midway through the model year. So, if your are buying a replacement remote for a 2003 Sentra, choose carefully.

2003 Nissan Sentra vehicles assembled through March 2003 used an oval-shaped remote with FCC ID NHVWBU43 or NHVBU427 on the back of the case. See the part at this link.

2003 Nissan Sentra vehicles assembled from April 1 2003 on used a rectangular-shaped remote with FCC ID CWTWB1U429 on the back of the case. See the part at this link.

If you do not have an original remote and do not know what it looked like, it is best to use the production date to choose the correct remote. Your vehicle has a production stamp that shows the month your car was assembled. This production stamp is usually located on a front door jamb. If you need to select your remote by the production date, go to this link.

Both remotes used on 2003 Nissan Sentra are user-programmable.
