Chevrolet made SSR vehicles from 2003 through 2006. The GM keyless entry remote keyfobs for this vehicle are somewhat unique in that the rear function icon is a representation of the tonneau cover in the open position. Only a few Ford and GM vehicles have tonneau covers that are operable from the remote keyfob.
See the SSR remotes at this link.
The remotes used on these SSR trucks are 4-button keyfobs with FCC ID KOBLEAR1XT. SSR vehicles had seat memory, so there are two remotes, each with a fob number on the back relating to the seat memory position (1 or 2). During the same period, GM made sedans with seat memory that used a similar pair of remotes. These car remotes also have FCC ID KOBLEAR1XT. The only difference is that the sedan keyfobs have a trunk icon instead of the open tonneau icon. In fact, the sedan remotes can be used in place of the SSR’s original remotes.

All remotes used for the 2003-2006 SSR require dealer programming with a scan tool.
